Do you enjoy watching movies at home or in the theatre? While both provide a different kind of experience, For me, it’s always at home because you can enjoy the movie by seeing your favorite scenes again and again. Cinemas don’t allow us to do this kind of things.
1. Psycho (1960)
In the classic horror film, Alfred Hitchcock gives us plenty of pause-able moments, but one in particular sticks out. When Norman Bates had a human skull on his head for just a second.
2. Scanners (1981)
David Cronenberg started off his legendary decade with this mystery horror film surrounding psychic powers. At one very infamous moment, a young Michael Ironside makes a man’s head explode with his powers. It happens so quickly and gruesomely that people had to watch again.
3. Total Recall (1990)
Arnold Schwarzenegger gave us many moments of violence and destruction through the years, but it’s a glimpse at a three-breasted woman that made viewers stop in awe.
4. Wild Things (1998)
There’s only one thing that everyone remembers about Denise Richards Wild Things, and it’s that the movie was full of hot scenes between Denise Richards and Neve Campbell.
5. Fight Club (1999)
Fight Club, directed by David Fincher based on the novel by Chuck Palahniuk, is filled with pause-worthy moments. Some obvious and some not so much, like this one where Brad Pitt flashes in a hospital.
